Robot Chicken

After doing stop motion I now have a higher appreciation for the time and effort for the art. Robot Chicken is done by moving little dolls and manipulating their mouths with paper to make them talk. Its funny and creative.

Silkscreen

I've just taken a silkscreen class and I looked at this picture and thought of how much work this piece must have been. Each color and each layer needs to have it's own screen. Silkscreen also reminds me of digital art because it block coloring.

Cans Seurat

Cans Seurat was a piece of art by artist Jordan. He took many pictures of cans and then put them together to make the well known Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, by Seurat. There are 60,000 cans and that is the number of cans that Americans throw away in one hour. I thought it was an interesting digital media piece done to get a point across.

Missing Dog

This picture makes me miss my dog... he died while I was at college so I never was able to say goodbye. Now every time I see a dog I goo goo eyed.
